ASAMS was founded from the purchase of the material testing laboratory of Oilfield Inspection Services.
Since opening in 1989 ASAMS has been providing material testing and consultancy services from its laboratory in Great Yarmouth to a variety of industries both locally and nationally.

ASAMS has invested heavily in refitting the laboratory and new test equipment meaning consistently reliable results are ensured.
All staff are knowledgeable, experienced and fully trained in all areas of testing meaning excellent customer service is always provided.

With over 35 years experience in the metals testing industry, Andrew's knowledge and experience enable him to advise on all matters relating to material testing.

Thomas joined ASAMS in 2009 after completing a materials science degree and has since earned his masters degree in offshore engineering. Thomas has completed over 400 failure investigations in his time with ASAMS covering a range of causes and materials.
