Cranfield University MSc students visit ASAMS for testing insights

Following a recent visit to Metalcraft Chatteris and The Validation Centre, Cranfield University MSc students returned to visit ASAMS laboratory to view our testing facilities.

ASAMS Managing Director, Thomas Whiskin, introduced and discussed key topics such as the importance of calibration, accreditation and working with a testing partner reflecting on ASAMS commitment to ISO 17025 and helping develop the next generation of engineers.

In addition, the range of testing services offered by ASAMS including mechanical testing and corrosion testing were discussed along with key details to be specified when requesting testing requirements.

ASAMS Managing Director, Thomas Whiskin said “it is great to host a return visit from the students of Cranfield University and it is always a pleasure to meet them and discuss our services and be a part of their learning journey, the students all showed great interest in the testing services we offer”.
