ASAMS are pleased to launch a series of metallurgy consultancy sessions focused on key topics of interest. The first session took place in March 2025 and was well received by delegates with positive feedback.

The first session focused on simplified heat input control in manual and semi-automatic welding. This was presented by Kevin Millican, ASAMS consultant and Chartered Engineer. Kevin has over 40 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy (Wind, Geothermal, & Hydrogen Production), and Nuclear industries, bringing a wealth of expertise to the table.

This presentation is part of our efforts to better understand our clients and respond to their needs. As part of this we are looking at arranging events which our clients will find useful and informative.
