Digital accreditation certification

UKAS have now transitioned to issuing digital certificates of accreditation. With this comes additional functionality and reassurance for clients who are now able to check live whether the laboratory’s accreditation is still current. Below are the changes to the way ASAMS uses and publicises its accreditation with the digitisation.

Digital certificate

On the testing capabilities page of the ASAMS website, in addition to the current accreditation schedule, there will also be a link to ASAMS’ UKAS certificate. By clicking on this link you will be redirected to the UKAS website where the current certificate will be shown. In addition to this there will be a verification that the certificate is current and the expiry date of the current certificate. There are also other resources available which give more information on accreditation and a link to ASAMS current schedule of accredited tests.

In addition a link to the certificate will be added to the useful information page of ASAMS website.

Email footer

ASAMS standard footer will be updated to include a link to the digital certificate to enable clients to easily verify that ASAMS accreditation is current.
