ASAMS are pleased to welcome Flavio Da Silva, a T-Level student from City College Norwich, who has joined the team for a one-month work experience placement. Flavio is currently studying Maintenance Mechanical Engineering as part of his T-Level qualification.
During his placement, Flavio is gaining first-hand experience by shadowing team members across all departments, providing him with a well-rounded insight into the operations of a UKAS-accredited metal testing laboratory.
Reflecting on his experience so far, Flavio said: “Meeting the team and working with them in each department has been the highlight. Everyday is different, and I’m learning a lot about the metal testing industry — it’s been really interesting.”
Outside of his academic interests, Flavio enjoys art, gaming, rock climbing and has a natural curiosity for all things engineering.
